Процесс модернизации содержания школьного образования предполагает организацию эффективного обучения иностранному языку в начальной школе, формирование иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции учащихся. Решению данной задачи способствует формирование интереса у детей к овладению иноязычной культурой посредством создания благоприятных условий для данной деятельности. Организация работы кружка на английском языке является дополнительным средством повышения интереса детей к его изучению, применения полученных знаний в нестандартной обстановке, их развития.
В нашей школе ребята 4-х классов занимаются дополнительно английским языком во время внеурочной деятельность в рамках кружка «Театральный английский». Учащиеся 4 «Г» класса подготовили сказку «Золушка».
Cinderella
Цель: совершенствование навыков устной речи.
Задачи: 1) тренировать навыки аудирования;
2) поддерживать интерес к изучению иностранного языка;
3) воспитывать нравственные качества.
Оборудование: декорации и костюмы для инсценирования сказки, аудиозаписи - фрагменты из балета «Золушка С. Прокофьева.
Scene I
(Вступление. «Вальс» из балета «Золушка» С. Прокофьева)
Lady Sybil: Good day! My name is Lady Sybil. I am a beautiful woman. I’m clever and kind. I like to go to the ball. I have got a lot of beautiful evening dresses.

I have got many influential friends. I want to have relatives: the king and the prince. I have got two daughters: Pat and Liz. They are very nice. I have got a husband and a stepdaughter. They are lazy. They don’t want to work. My house is always dirty. And now look! They are talking.
Cinderella: Good morning, Daddy, dear!
Father: Good morning, my child. How are you today?
Cinderella: Fine, Daddy. And you?
Father: Oh, I’m OK, but, my child…
Cinderella: Yes, Daddy?
Lady Sybil: Cinderella! What are you doing? You’re not working!
Father: But…
Lady Sybil: Work, girl, work. Make the breakfast. I’m hungry. I want my toast, jam, cheese and a cup of tea.
Cinderella: Yes, stepmother.
Lady Sybil: And you, Basil, what are you doing? Helping the girl?
Father: Er - no…
Lady Sybil: Basil, go away!

Lady Sybil: My daughters are coming down and they want their breakfast, too.
(Enter Pat.)
Cinderella: Good morning, sister.
Pat: Good morning, Mummy, dear.
Lady Sybil: And how are you today, Pat, dear?
Pat: Terrible, terrible.
Lady Sybil: Oh, dear.
(Enter Liz.)
Cinderella: Good morning, sister.
Lady Sybil: Ah, good morning, my child.
Liz: Morning.
Lady Sybil: And how are you today?
Liz: Terrible.
Lady Sybil: Oh, dear, you too?
Liz: Oh, my head…, my teeth…, oooh…
Pat: Cinderella! Where is my breakfast? I’m hungry and thirsty. I want two eggs, pudding, cookies, two cups of tea today - milk, sugar and six pieces of toast.
Liz: I want a cup of coffee… Oh, my head…
Pat: With cheese.
Liz: Coffee. Black. No sugar. I want my breakfast now. Cinderella. Oh, my teeth…
Pat: And an apple.
Cinderella: Yes, sister. Yes, sister. Coming.
Scene II

Lady Sybil: We’ll go to the ball today. What shall we wear, I wonder? We haven’t got new clothes. I want a party dress.
Pat: And me, too. I want a beautiful white evening dress, a blue hat and white shoes.
Liz:And me, too. I want a beautiful blue evening dress, blue shoes and a white hat.
Cinderella: And me, too. I can’t wear these old clothes. I want some new clothes.
Lady Sybil: You?
Cinderella: Yes, me.
Lady Sybil: You can’t go to the ball.
Pat and Liz:No, you can’t go to the ball.
Postman: Oh yes, she can. Look here. The invitation card says: “To Lord Basil and Lady Sybil and their three daughters”. So she can go to the ball.
Lady Sybil: Oh no, she can’t.
Postman: Oh yes, she can.
Pat and Liz: Oh no, she can’t.
Lady Sybil: Oh yes, she can. She can go to the ball. Thank you, postman. Goodbye, postman. Cinderella, you can go to the ball. But first there’s some work for you to do. Make beds, go to the shop and buy food, make tea, wash our clothes. And only then you can make your dress for the ball. And then you can go to the ball.
Cinderella:Oh no! I can’t do all that today! How can I go to the Ball now?!
Scene III

Cinderella: What can I do now? I haven’t got new clothes. I can’t go to the ball now. It’s nine o’clock. The ball is starting. Who can help me?
Fairy: I can help you.
Cinderella: But who are you?
Fairy: I’m your Fairy Godmother. I can do things for you. Now tell me, what’s your problem?
Cinderella: Oh, Fairy Godmother, I can’t go to the ball. And I want to go!
Fairy: Well, let me see. That’s a good idea! Cinderella, give me a box!
Cinderella: Here you are!
Fairy: Now you stand there, near the box. One, two, three! Look, Cinderella! Here is your carriage! One horse and one driver. Now you can go to the ball. Cinderella: Oh! But my clothes! I can’t wear these at the ball!
Fairy: Close your eyes! One, two, three! Now open your eyes!
Cinderella: But these clothes are beautiful!
Fairy: Now you can go to the ball and have a good time.
Cinderella: Oh, thank you, Fairy Godmother.
Fairy: But, Cinderella, there’s just one thing.
Cinderella: Yes?
Fairy: You can have these things only until 12 o’clock. Come home before that time. Do you understand?
Cinderella: Oh yes, yes. Thank you, thank you, Fairy Godmother!
Fairy: Bye, Cinderella. Have a good time. And remember – you must be back home before 12 12 o’clock!

Таким образом, инсценирование сказок обеспечивает интерес ребят к иноязычной речевой деятельности, к предмету иностранного языка и позволяет подчинить процесс овладения иностранным материалом решению внеязыковых задач общения.
